Was referred to Dixon Sharpening by a co-worker. Reached out to the owner, Jim, with a query and he quickly replied. Dropped off a knife block and 6 random kitchen knives including a Grace Chen cleaver. Never really discussed a turnaround time as I wasn’t in a huge rush. A few short hours later, Jim texted me to let me know the knives were ready…and the final price was shockingly reasonable. Picked them up the next day and immediately put the cleaver to use on a whole chicken. It was Samurai sharp as were all the knives including a serrated edge one from the block. Jim even reshaped a tip that I’d abused. Needless to say, I’ll be using Dixon Sharpening again for other knives and tools. He’s 5-Star plus! Definitely recommend.
